Safety Attempt
This illustration symbolizes the decay of material items. It is in memory of those
things that survive through our representations.
Material things are transitory - perishable, as demonstrated in the first image,
which depicts the head of a woman. If you look closely, you will see that her head
is shaped by the outline of a knight and a woman. They both reach out to each
other because they wish to remain together. The decay is represented by cracks
that will eventually cause the different pieces to fall apart. They do not, of course,
drift apart in the second dimension but in the third, which appears in the
lowermost image.
Although the knight is in the background and the woman is sitting in the
foreground, the original image of the woman's head is still visible. As in daily life,
when material things decay, the spirit of a person continues to exist; it is still
present.
