To immortalize the animals of my territory, I took a photograph of two fine specimens: a beautiful ram and an ibex near a watering hole. When I enlarged the illustration, I realized that there was a strong resemblance to an old self-portrait I had made. Since that moment, these animals have been constantly in my thoughts.
