House Without a Courtyard
This building complex comprises two spirals of rectangles: one dark and one light.
Apart from the impossible outline of the house, whose right and left facades can
be seen simultaneously, this building has no courtyard, only a painted front, whose
plaster is peeling off two of the corners. How else could the painter working on
the facade raise his ladder without tumbling into the courtyard?
The woman and the boy in the courtyard are nothing but illustrations on the
facade and therefore cannot really see the painter.
